University Students

IELTS

IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System. I’ve helped many people reach the band they need to be accepted on a university course. I can ensure you improve your test technique by analysing your performance and strengthening specific skills and areas.

If you need Academic IELTS for university, I recommend you take at least 20 lessons and over three months doing preparation. You need to allow enough time to build your vocabulary. You will learn how to answer questions and write short essays. However, you have to do the work and complete lots of practice.

Using LLMs for honest feedback on your writing might feel frustrating. In contrast, I can coach you and tell you exactly what to focus on to give examiners what they want. Instead of trying to fix everything at once, I can design a step-by-step IELTS writing course specifically tailored for you and your progress.

Band 7 is equivalent to CEFR C1, but learning the IELTS technique won’t mean you magically become advanced. If you’re at B1 level, it might be a better idea to study General English for a year before doing IELTS preparation.
